For Families

When You Want to Help

But Can’t Always Be the Tech Support Person

You may want to help a parent, grandparent or older relative with technology, but explaining the same steps repeatedly can be difficult when you’re also managing work, children and your own responsibilities.

Daphne provides patient, structured technology instruction that families often do not have the time to provide.

✔ Use their phone, tablet or computer more independently
✔ Understand common technology terms
✔ Recognize suspicious messages and scams
✔ Handle everyday digital tasks with greater confidence
✔ Ask questions without feeling embarrassed
✔ Depend less on family for every small technology problem

· Give them skills; not just another quick fix.
· Solving a technology problem for someone may take a few minutes.
· Helping them understand how to solve similar problems themselves builds confidence and independence.
